welcome to the family izzie

sharon rescued issabella (izzie), a cockapoo, from a rescue shelter in modesto.  she is only 9 weeks old.  we found her on petfinder.  i wanted to bring home her brother too, but aaron reminded me that two dogs was enough.  trust me, it was so hard to leave him behind.  the lady there asked if i was allergic to cats (cats were in the same area as the dogs) because my eyes were all red.  i wished i was allergic to cats!  one thing we learned about izzie is that she does not like to go on walks.  we put a leash on her and she refuses to walk.  oh, and she loves to snuggle.  i just want to snuggle her all day long.  at least sharon is here for a few days so i can play with her some more.

emma and dexter are thinking what the?!?!

what a cutie she is!

such a long day!

i love soccer

aaron and i surprised ryan by showing up to watch him play in the soccer tournament in pleasanton.  their team tied 1-1.  ryan was playing defense and did a great job.  watching ryan played made me wish i was still playing soccer.

coyote point park

we took lianne and pierce to coyote point park in san mateo and they had a blast.  i didn't know how pierce would do without his parents, but he did great.  no meltdowns!  pierce was brave enough to go down the big slide by himself, but after that, i had to go on it with him.  lianne made friends and spent most of the time running around with them.  we spent a couple of hours at the park, then headed to get some pho, and ended the day with ice cream from baskin robbins.  :)

bark in the park

last weekend we took emma and dexter to bark in the park in downtown san jose.  good thing we got there early because it was getting a little warm when we left.  doggies got a bunch of free goodies - although there was this one treat that emma was not too fond of.  she actually spat it back out, hehe.  and here i thought she would eat anything.

happy birthdays!

we celebrated mom's and tuan's birthdays a few weeks back.  tin was supposed to be there too, but he had the flu.  i decided to bake them a cake and i think it turned out pretty good.  afterwards lianne and pierce had a good time throwing some water balloons in the backyard.
