5th annual cherry picking

slim pickings this year.  we are guessing it's due to not getting enough rain.  nevertheless, aaron and i still managed to pick 10.5 lbs.  tin and huong picked 8 lbs.  mom and dad picked 5 lbs.  and the price doubled from last year, instead of $2 a lb, it was $4 a lb.  delicious cherries though.  :)

fort funston

instead of going out to dinner for my birthday, we decided to take emma and dexter to fort funston with their cousins, gus and shawn.  i forget how pretty this place is . . .

aquarium by the bay

i haven't taken lianne and pierce anywhere for a while, so we took them to aquarium by the bay at pier 39. lianne wanted to go on the merry-go-round and see the sea lions, so that's what we did.  she pinched her nose and asked what the smell was - told her the sea lions haven't had their baths.  i love spending time with them and should do it more often before they get too old and don't want to be seen with their auntie.

since lianne loves hello kitty and pierce loves ninja turtles, we decided to do easter eggs hello kitty and ninja turtles style.  as lianne was searching for eggs and she came upon her first egg, which was a ninja turtle, she screamed "pierce! i found a ninja turtle egg for you!"  she then ran towards pierce and put the egg in his basket.  so cute.  always looking out for her brother. unless they are fighting.

i love doing different craft tables at work . . . here is the easter table i did.  i saw some ideas on pinterest and came up with some other ones on my own.  i loved how cute it turned out!

bowling outing

i guess i got the bowling bug when i had the bowling company event.  so we went bowling as a family.  i didn't know this, but they have a bowling ramp for little kids.  you put the ball on this ramp  and just push the ball.  there was no way pierce could have thrown the ball if they didn't have the ramp.  lianne was able to throw hers as she saw everyone else doing it and didn't want to use the ramp.  we had fun.
