morning stroll with favorite toy

every now and then emma would grab a toy and bring it on our walks.  usually she would just drop it after a couple of minutes, but the other day she just kept her toy with her for almost the entire walk.  it was so cute!

i had these two frames that i bought from a thrift store several years ago and been meaning to do something with them.  so i decided to put chicken wire in and use it as my bulletin board for home.  isn't it cute???  thank you sharon for helping.

bought miniature clothespins at michael's and used that to hang up pictures, etc.

i can change out pictures and add something else for whatever season we are in  :)

train outing

last week we went on a train outing - niles canyon to sunol.  lianne asked if we can go again the next day.  :)

the whole train was lit up with lights - kids were mesmerized

ended the night with a happy meal :)

things we do for our dogs

it's been pouring rain outside and dexter refuses to go potty.  this was the only way we can get him to go in the backyard.  :)

tomato cages as christmas trees

an idea i saw on pinterest - flipping tomato cages upside down and wrapping lights around it to make it look like christmas trees.  not sure if it even looks like christmas trees, but at least we have some lights outside the house.  :)

one of my favorite ornaments - eeyore!  it's because eeyore reminds us of riley.  riley would used to mope when he wants to go on a walk or wants our attention. 

DIY burlap wreath

i've been obsessed with burlap for a while and finally i did something about it.  i'm proud of how they turned out.  here are the materials i used:

• metal wreath from michael's
• burlap from michael's and joann's fabrics (joann's sell the burlap by the yard)
• glue gun
