easter wreath

saw this wreath on pinterest and thought it was so cute!  materials: 12" foam wreath, ribbon to cover the wreath, glue gun, and about 20-22 peeps.  you can do whatever color peeps you want, but since i love the color yellow, i decided to do all of it yellow.

she.is.beautiful 5k/10k

gillie and i did the she.is.beautiful run in santa cruz on sunday (3/17).  i did the 10k and gillie did the 5k.  the course was fine until i hit the 5k turnaround.  tons of people!  had to weave around people, which wasn't a big deal if i wasn't going for time, but i was.  when aaron saw me a little before mile 6, he thought to himself "man, not sure if she's gonna make it."  hehe, i was running pretty hard.  weather was great and run was fun.  i would definitely do this race again.  afterwards we met up with some friends and had a delicious breakfast at zachary's in santa cruz.

jenny's light 5k/10k

my work is paying for any charity runs that we do, so i got several people at work to sign up for jenny's light 5k/10k at vasona park on sunday, 3/10.

juliette (left) is 7 months.  monroe (right) is 15 months.  crazy huh?  monroe did not want to share her snacks.  hehe.

emma and dexter was due for a trip somewhere, so we decided to take them to golden gate park.  i wonder how dogs know we are at a new place because each time we go somewhere, dexter would go crazy.  then of course emma would go crazy too.

i won tickets to go to their concert in august - woo hoo!  i didn't even know when i was supposed to call in and i just started dialing.  i just need to win the lottery!!!

happy birthday lianne!

lianne is turning 5 - how time flies!  birthday party was held at pump it up - it's where they have a bunch of inflatables and kids go crazy.  i went down a slide and it was pretty fun.  after the kids get to get all their energy out, we went into the dining area where pizza, chips and cupcakes were served.

gillie and i had fun at pink concert.  i like her even more now after i saw her perform.  she is so personable and looked like she was genuinely happy to perform for her fans.  she gave a great performance by doing her crazy acrobats and flying all over the arena.  i would definitely go to her concert again.  next concert: maroon 5.
