i am obsessed with pinterest. what is pinterest? it's an online virtual pinboard where users can pin and organize images onto individual "boards." so instead of cutting out pages in magazines and putting them in a binder for house ideas, i could do it online. you can have as many boards as you like too. and if you like what other users have on their boards, you could "repin" it on your board. neat idea huh? check it out when you get a chance.

valentine's craft
i saw this cute valentine's craft idea and decided to try it. didn't turn out exactly like the picture, but i like my version too. :) the best part? i didn't spend a dime doing the project!
let it snow
okay, so we didn't really see snow, but emma made us some. she loves taking out the stuffing out of her toys and this is the outcome when we got home.

homemade sweet potato chews
i saw this recipe online and thought we try it - sweet potato chewy treats. recipe: cut a bunch of sweet potatoes into scant 1/4" slices. put them in the oven straight onto the racks (not on baking sheets). preheat oven 250 F, and cook for 3 hours. take them out and let it sit and it'll become hard and chewy. they are crunchy and emma and dexter loves them!

christmas with family
since leroy couldn't be home for christmas, we brought christmas to him in the hospital. i forgot my camera and there were no pics - i'm hoping that i can get some pics from other family that were there.
we celebrated christmas with my family the day after christmas. i'm glad that both dads are out of the hospital and at home resting.

go niners!
we got to go to the niners monday night game against pittsburgh steelers and had a good time. we were a little disappointed of where the seats were, but at least they were free. i got to go on the field during half time, which was pretty neat. oh, and we got to see steve young and jerry rice having fun throwing the football to each other.
