golden gate park

while aaron was running a 5k at golden gate park, i walked emma and dexter around for almost 2 hours.  they had a blast and was very pooped on the drive home.  aaron's 5k time was 20:15, one of his better runs so far this year. 

half moon bay brunch

a couple of weekends ago we went to half moon bay for brunch.  it was yummie!  my stomach was about to burst . . . no joke.

montgomery hill

pierce and lianne were supposed to start soccer today, but due to the storm the past few days, it was cancelled.  since we were all up and awake, we decided to hike montgomery hill, which was right around the corner.

happy easter

we hosted easter dinner at our place and had an easter egg hunt set up for lianne and pierce.  it was fun watching them searched for eggs.  pierce stopped searching when he saw a toy car in one of the easter eggs.  lianne had fun running around and emma and dexter joined in on the fun by barking.

easter egg rice krispies! saw on better homes & garden and thought it was a really cute idea.  aaron dyed the marshmallow pink and we put it in the plastic egg (spray a little pam so krispies doesn't stick).

bol park in palo alto

we took advantage of summer-like weather on saturday and took the furry babies out on a little field trip to bol park in palo alto.

saw this at tjaxx homegoods and fell in love with it.  it is now hanging in our entry and i love the shabby cottagy look.

they're baaaccccckkkkk

i first posted about the lovebirds back in June of last year and was wondering if they would ever come back since we moved their nest, and they're back!  probably not the same birds, but at least they are using the thing i put out for them.  sooo cute.  i hope to see baby birdies soon.
