first time running as a 40-year old and my official time was 23:22. as soon as i crossed the finish line, aaron was there waiting for me with a smile and said great job! and then he said the course was a little short. no wonder my second mile was 7:10! i was thinking, wow - i sure improved a lot! hehe. regardless, aaron came in 10th overall and i came in 8th overall and second in my age group (40-44). lana and gillie did great too! they both PR'd and we are looking forward to our next one - see jane run.
